I tapped my pencil impatiently, she was late, but why am I surprised. I checked the clock above me, it was almost night. I tapped my pencil faster, I'd hate to see something happen to Shepard. I heard a snap, I looked down to notice my pencil had snapped. I threw it on a pile with the rest as I picked another up, then beginning to sharpen it with my sword. The door soon opened, my head shot to a certain commander at the door, "Shepard." I huffed as she was wrapped in a cloth, "your late" I said under my breaths. She laughed and walked over to me and sat in the chair next to mine.
I turned to her, "why did you ask me here exactly?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Cause I want you to draw me!" She smiled as I signed and nodded. Finishing sharpening my pencils, grabbing all the things I needed to draw Shepard. I then turned in her direction, my face down at the paper as I opened my mouth as my eyes raised, b
All Here For A ReasonI turned onto a shady, well-manicured driveway that, for all intents and purposes, looked harmless enough. Maple trees lined both sides of the street, and a parade of Canadian geese marched across the road to a wide duck pond with a flamboyant fountain. There were blooming crepe myrtles and rose-of-sharons, and as I grew closer to my destination, neatly trimmed gardens with neatly trimmed bushes.
I stopped to let the geese pass. They looked at me; one hissed. I honked my horn and moved around them.
At the end of the road sat a collection of grayish buildings and a number of signs directing me to the appropriate parking lot. "Welcome to Ten Creeks Hospital," said one of them. "Please enjoy your stay." I parked in the visitor's lot. Surely I wouldn't be staying.
